Children of the Mountains
Isaiah 52:7 says....How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bring good tidings of good, that publisheth Salvation; that saith in Zion, Thy God reigneth.
We rejoice when we read the above verse because we know that not only has many steps have be trodden and many lives have been lost in the conquest of furthering the Kingdom of God throughout the centuries, but also that it has not been done in vain. Christianity is alive and well, and we continue to crush Satan daily under our feet.
We thank Pastor Sammy Pacleb, overseer of 20 Christian Fellowship Churches in the Negros Occidental Region of the Philippines and his wife Wennolyn for their diligence in serving their native people. The congregations that Pastor Sammy oversees are poor, especially those in the Mountain regions. The picture you see on the left is just a few of 100 or more children that lives in these Mountains. The children are in desperate need of shoes. They do not have shoes to wear to school. They also need clothes. Pastor Sammy has provided feeding programs for them and has clothes drives, but the need is very great, and he needs our help......

A little means alot
Some of the children you see here are those who have already received shoes and clothes. We display these pics with many thanks to those who has already given to this cause.
A little means alot to the Filipino people. A small gift of five dollars ($5) can buy one pair of these shoes. For some of these children, these shoes are the first shoes they have ever owned. And, not only does $5 buy a child a pair of shoes, but it shows the parents that there are still people in the world that care for someone besides themselves. It shows them that the Love of God is still alive and that there is hope in Jesus Christ. A pair of shoes provides not only protection from the elements but also serves as a witnessing tool.
